The decision of the Tribunal was as follows:-
The appellant, with just sufficient English to confirm basic employment details, claimed that his employment, which commenced on 1 September 2005, ended by reason of redundancy on 30 March 2013. His gross weekly pay was €350.00. He told the Tribunal that the business which had employed him had closed down.
A hearing notice was sent to the respondent but no evidence was offered by or on behalf of the respondent at the hearing.
Determination:
Under the Redundancy Payments Acts, 1967 to 2007, the Tribunal finds that the appellant is entitled to a redundancy lump sum based on the following details:

Gross weekly pay: €350.00
This award is made subject to the appellant having been in insurable employment under the Social Welfare Acts during the relevant period.
