heard this appeal at Dublin on 12th August 2014
Representation:
Appellant : In person
Respondent : Mr William Lewins, Richmond Business Solutions,

The decision of the Tribunal was as follows:
Having heard the submissions from both parties the Tribunal finds that the appellant’s employment terminated with the respondent by way of redundancy. It was common case that the job the appellant held with the respondent no longer existed. Any offers of alternative work were neither unsuitable nor not comparable to the appellant’s experience and profile.
The appeal under the Redundancy Payments Acts, 1967 to 2007 is allowed and the appellant is awarded a statutory lump sum under those Acts, and based on the following:
Date of Birth:
Date of Commencement: 26 June 2006
Date of Termination: 28 April 2013
Gross Weekly Wage: €623.20
A statutory weekly ceiling of €600.00 applies to payments under the above Acts.
This award is made subject to the appellant being in insurable employment during the relevant period.
