The determination of the Tribunal is as follows:
Determination
The Tribunal is satisfied that the respondent was properly on notice of the hearing. The appellant worked as a supervisor for a cleaning company. His employment ended when his employer’s contract to clean one particular premises terminated.
The Tribunal is satisfied that the appellant’s employment terminated by virtue of redundancy. The appellant is awarded a redundancy lump sum under the Redundancy Payments Acts, 1967 to 2007 based on the following criteria:

Date employment ended: 08 December 2012
Gross Weekly Pay: €98.00
Amount of Award: €3141.88
This award is made subject to the appellant having been in insurable employment under the Social Welfare Acts during the relevant period.
