The decision of the Tribunal was as follows:-
A redundancy appeal was lodged for a school cleaner. A defence was lodged on behalf of the school stating that the cleaning work had gone to a contractor that now employed the appellant. An appeal lodged in respect of a sister employee was withdrawn.
There was no attendance at the Tribunal hearing by or on behalf of the appellant or the respondent.
Determination:
The appeal under the Redundancy Payments Acts, 1967 to 2007, is dismissed for want of prosecution.
