Determination
It was accepted by the respondent that the business ceased to trade following problems with the land lord.
The Tribunal is satisfied that a redundancy situation existed and awards the appellant a redundancy lump sum based on the following information:
Date Employment Began 15 July 2007
Date Employment Ended 16 November 2012
Gross Weekly Pay €354.32
This award is made subject to the appellant having been in insurable employment during the relevant period.
The appellant’s representative asked the Tribunal to impose the fines specified in Section 17 and Section 18 of the Redundancy Payments Act 1967. The Tribunal has no jurisdiction in this regard.
