The decision of the Tribunal was as follows:
Having heard and considered the uncontested evidence of the appellant the Tribunal is satisfied his employment was terminated by the respondent without proper notice. Accordingly the appeal under the Minimum Notice and Terms of Employment Acts, 1993 to 2005 is allowed and the appellant is awarded €4407.92 as compensation for eights weeks’ notice.
