The decision of the Tribunal was as follows:-

There was no appearance by or representation on behalf of the respondent.  The notice of hearing was served to the respondent’s registered business which is also the registered address of the business name owner as per the Companies Registration Office.

The claimant was employed from 28^th August 2012 until 14^th November 2013.  She was dismissed without notice on 14^th November 2013 by text message.  The respondent closed the business.

Determination:

The Tribunal awards the claimant €350.00 in respect of one week’s pay under the Minimum

Notice and Terms of Employment Acts, 1973 to 2005.
