Determination
The Tribunal is satisfied that both parties were properly on notice of the hearing. Based on the uncontested evidence of the appellant the Tribunal is satisfied that she was dismissed by reason of redundancy. Accordingly the Tribunal awards the appellant a lump sum payment under the Redundancy Payments Acts 1967 to 2007 based on the following information:
Date of commencement of employment: 4 October 1994
Date of termination of employment: 23 May 2014
Gross weekly pay: €961.21
Please note that a weekly ceiling of €600 applies to any payments from the Social Insurance Fund and this award is subject to the appellant having been in employment which is insurable for all purposes under the Social Welfare Consolidation Act 2005.
