Chairman: Ms O. Madden B.L.
Members: Mr. N. Ormond
Mr J. Flannery
heard this claim at Dublin on 3rd July 2015
Representation:
Claimant: In person
Respondent: No appearance or representation
Determination:
There was no appearance by or on behalf of the Respondent. The Tribunal is satisfied that proper notification was sent to the Respondent. Having heard the uncontested evidence of the Claimant the Tribunal determines that the Claimant is due six weeks notice. Accordingly, the Tribunal awards the Claimant the sum of €3,360.00 , this being compensation of six weeks gross pay in lieu of notice under the Minimum Notice and Terms Of Employment Acts, 1973 To 2005.
Under the Organisation of Working Time Act, 1997, the Tribunal awards the Claimant the sum of €1,680.00, this being three weeks holiday pay.
As to the other claims for unpaid wages the Tribunal makes no award as the claims are not provided for in either of the above Acts.
