Determination:

There was no appearance by or on behalf of the employer. The Tribunal is satisfied that proper notification was sent to the employer.

The Tribunal heard the uncontested evidence of the Claimant. The Claimant worked in the Respondent wine bar/ restaurant head waitress. On or about 6^th September 2013 she was told that a new manager was taking over and that she was no longer a part of the team.

The Tribunal heard evidence as to the Claimant’s loss.

The Tribunal determines that the Claimant was unfairly dismissed. Accordingly, the Tribunal determines compensation to be the most appropriate remedy and awards the Claimant the sum of €16,340, under the Unfair Dismissals Acts, 1977 to 2007.
