The decision of the Tribunal was as follows:-
The Tribunal is satisfied that proper notification was sent to the respondent. Neither they nor representatives on their behalf appeared for this case. Having considered the evidence of the claimants, and based on their uncontested evidence the Tribunal allows the appeal under the Minimum Notice and Terms of Employment Acts, 1973 to 2005.
Accordingly, the Tribunal awards the following payments:
the first named claimant the sum of €5,028.66, this being the equivalent of six weeks pay, in lieu of notice
the second named claimant the sum of €6,704.88, this being the equivalent of eight weeks pay,
in lieu of notice
