There was no appearance or representation for or on behalf of the respondent. The Tribunal is satisfied that proper notification was sent to the respondent. The Tribunal is satisfied that a redundancy situation existed and accordingly finds that the appellant is entitled to payment under the Redundancy Payments Acts, 1967 to 2007, based on the following information:
Employment commenced 06th May 2009
Employment ended 08th December 2012
Gross pay €250.84
This award is made subject to the appellant having been in insurable employment under the Social Welfare Acts during the relevant period.
The claimant under the Minimum Notice and Terms Of Employment Acts, 1973 to 2005 succeeds and the Tribunal awards the claimant the sum of €501.68, this being compensation of two weeks gross pay in lieu of notice.
