The determination of the Tribunal is as follows:
Determination
The Tribunal is satisfied that a redundancy situation resulted in the termination of the appellant’s employment. Accordingly the Tribunal awards the appellant a redundancy lump sum under the Redundancy Payments Acts, 1967 to 2007 based on the following information:
Date employment began: 01 August 1990
Date employment ended: 31 January 2013
Gross Weekly Pay: €599.06
This award is made subject to the appellant having been in insurable employment under the Social Welfare Acts during the relevant period.
The appeal under the Minimum Notice and Terms of Employment Acts 1973 to 2005 succeeds and the appellant is awarded the sum of €4792.48 being eight weeks pay.
