An interpreter independent to both parties was provided by the Tribunal for this hearing.
The respondent did not attend the hearing. A representative on behalf of the respondent informed the Tribunal that the appellant’s employment terminated by virtue of the fact that the respondent was unable to provide further work to the appellant.
The Tribunal is satisfied that the appellant is entitled to a lump sum payment under the Redundancy Payments Acts, 1967 to 2007, based on the following criteria:

Gross Weekly Pay: €362.00
This award is made subject to the appellant having been in insurable employment under the Social Welfare Acts during the relevant period.
