Determination:
There was no appearance on behalf of the Respondent. The Tribunal is satisfied that proper notification was sent to the Respondent. Accordingly, having heard the uncontested evidence of the Appellant the Tribunal finds that the appellant is entitled to a redundancy lump sum under the Redundancy Payments Acts, 1967 to 2007, based on the following details:
Date of Commencement: 31st March 2006
Date of Notice: 14th November 2013
Date of Termination: 14th November 2013
Gross Weekly Pay: €596.00
This award is made subject to the appellant having been in insurable employment under the Social Welfare Acts during the relevant period.
The claim under the Minimum Notice and Terms Of Employment Acts, 1973 To 2005, succeeds and the Tribunal awards the Claimant the sum of €2,384.00, this being compensation of four weeks gross pay in lieu of notice.
The claim under the Organisation of Working Time Act, 1997, succeeds, and the Tribunal awards the Claimant the sum of €1,192.00
