This case came before the Tribunal by way of an appeal by the employer (appellant) against the recommendation of the Rights Commissioner (r132098-ud-13) under the Unfair Dismissals Acts 1977 to 2007.

Determination

The Tribunal is satisfied that both parties were properly on notice of the hearing. As there was no appearance by the appellant at the appointed time of the hearing the appeal fails for lack of prosecution and the recommendation of the Rights Commissioner is upheld.
