Determination
The appellant failed to attend the hearing of his case set down for the 15th of May 2014. On the 16th of May 2014 the Tribunal wrote to the appellant allowing him 21 days to respond to the Tribunal if he wished his case to proceed; he did not make contact with the Tribunal.
As a matter of courtesy to the Tribunal, the appellant’s former Union representative attended the hearing. He had no information regarding the appellant’s whereabouts or the case at hand.
The Tribunal find that the appeal under the Redundancy Payments Acts, 1967 to 2007 is dismissed.
