This case came before the Tribunal by way of an employee seeking the implementation of a recommendation of a Rights Commissioner under the Unfair Dismissals Acts, 1977 to 2007, ref: r-086790-ud-09/JC.
The determination of the Tribunal was as follows:-
The claimant attended the hearing and confirmed that the recommendation of the Rights Commissioner had not been implemented.
Accordingly, the Tribunal makes a determination to the like effect as Right Commissioner Recommendation r-086790-ud-09/JCthat the respondent pays the claimant the sum of
€4,000.00 (four thousand euro) under the Unfair Dismissals Acts, 1977 to 2001.
