The decision of the Tribunal was as follows:-
Determination:
Based on the uncontested evidence the Tribunal finds the appellant is entitled to her statutory redundancy and under the Redundancy Payments Acts, 1967 to 2007, the Tribunal awards a redundancy lump sum based on the following details:
Date of Birth:
Date of Commencement: 14 February 2003
Date of Notice: 2 March 2014
Date of Termination: 2 March 2014
Gross Weekly Pay: €346.00
Loss having been established the Tribunal awards the sum of €1,522.40, this being twenty two days gross wages, under the Minimum Notice and Terms of Employment Acts, 1973 to 2005. It should be noted the appellant secured employment during her minimum notice period and therefore is only entitled to twenty two days gross wages under the Act.
This award is made subject to the appellant having been in insurable employment under the Social Welfare Acts during the relevant period.
