This case came before the Tribunal by way of an employee seeking to implement the recommendation of a Rights Commissioner under the Unfair Dismissals Acts, 1977 to 2007, ref: r-130112-ud-12/MMG.
The determination of the Tribunal was as follows:-
The claimant attended the hearing and confirmed that the recommendation of the Rights Commissioner was not implemented. The respondent’s representative submitted that an appeal had been brought by the respondent but this had been withdrawn on the day of the appeal hearing.
Accordingly, the Tribunal makes a determination to the like effect as Right Commissioner recommendation ref: r-130112-ud-12/MMG that the respondent pay the claimant the sum of €4,000.00 under the Unfair Dismissals Acts, 1977 to 2007.
