The Tribunal noted that the respondent company was dissolved on 16 April 2014. There was no appearance by or on behalf of the respondent.
The Tribunal awards the claimant the sum of €7,196.80 the equivalent of eight weeks’ minimum notice under the Minimum Notice and Terms of Employment Acts, 1973 to 2005.
It should be noted that a statutory weekly ceiling of €600.00 applies to payments from the social insurance fund.
This award is subject to the appellant having been in employment which is insurable for all purposes under the Social Welfare Consolidation Act 2005.
