Determination
The Tribunal is satisfied that all parties were on notice of the hearing. There was no appearance by or on behalf of the respondent.
Based on the uncontested evidence the Tribunal awards the appellant a lump sum payment under the Redundancy Payments Acts, 1967 to 2007, based on the following criteria:
Date of Commencement: 17 May 2007
Date of Termination: 17 October 2013
Gross Weekly Pay: €500.00
This award is made subject to the appellant having been in insurable employment under the Social Welfare Acts during the relevant period.
The Tribunal heard evidence from the appellant that he was due one weeks’ annual leave and therefore award the sum of €500.00 under the Organisation of Working Time Act, 1997.
