Determination
The appellant was paid his redundancy entitlements from the Social Insurance fund, therefore the claim under the Redundancy Payments Acts 1967 to 2007 is dismissed. It is accepted by the respondent that the appellant did not get his minimum notice entitlement. The Tribunal award the appellant €1,416.00 being the equivalent to 4 weeks’ pay in lieu of notice under the Minimum Notice and Terms of Employment Acts, 1973 to 2005.
