The determination of the Tribunal was as follows:-
There was no appearance by or representation on behalf of the Liquidator. The Tribunal is satisfied that he was on notice of the hearing. The claimant was one of many who were dismissed without notice when the respondent ceased operating its business in a chain of filling stations around the country.
Determination:
The claimant withdrew her claim under the Unfair Dismissals Acts, 1977 to 2007, prior to the hearing.
The claimant was employed from 25th February 2013 until 28th February 2014. The Tribunal awards the appellant €307.00 (three hundred and seven euro) in respect of one week’s pay under the Minimum Notice and Terms of Employment Acts, 1973 to 2005.
