The decision of the Tribunal was as follows:

Having heard and considered the evidence from the claimant and respondent the Tribunal finds that the claimant was not given formal notice of the impending termination of his employment. Accordingly, the Tribunal allows the claim under the Minimum Notice and Terms of Employment, 1973 to 2005 and awards the claimant the sum of €650.00 being one week’s wages.
