Procedure:

In accordance with Section 41 of the Workplace Relations Act, 2015 following the referral of the complaint(s)/dispute(s) to me by the Director General, I inquired into the complaint(s)/dispute(s) and gave the parties an opportunity to be heard by me and to present to me any evidence relevant to the complaint(s)/dispute(s).

Complainant’s Submission and Presentation:

The complainant was employed from April 27^th 2014 to June 6^th 2015.

The complainant was entitled to 12.48 of holidays and two public holidays arising from her employment which was not paid by the Respondent.

The complainant earned 11.50 Euros per hour and is entitled to 143.52 Euros for holiday pay and 186 Euros for public holidays.

The claimant submitted her claim under sections 19 and 21 of the Act on November 26^th 2015.

Respondent’s Submission and Presentation:

The Respondent was not present at the Hearing.

Decision:

Section 41 of the Workplace Relations Act 2015 requires that I make a decision in relation to the complaint(s)/dispute(s) in accordance with the relevant redress provisions under Schedule 6 of that Act. I award the claimant 331.52 Euros to be paid within four weeks of todays date.
