Procedure:
In accordance with Section 41(4) of the Workplace Relations Act, 2015, following the referral of the complaint(s)/dispute(s) to me by the Director General, I inquired into the complaint(s)/dispute(s) and gave the parties an opportunity to be heard by me and to present to me any evidence relevant to the complaint(s)/dispute(s).
The Complainant had presented a complaint that he did not receive a redundancy payment in breach of his rights and entitlements under the Redundancy Payment Act 1967. The complaint was presented to the Workplace Relations Commission on 12th November 2015. However the Complainant was not present or represented at the Hearing and likewise the Respondent was not present or represented at the Hearing.

Findings and Decision:
Section 41(4) of the Workplace Relations Act 2015 requires that I make a decision in relation to the complaint(s)/dispute(s) in accordance with the relevant redress provisions under Schedule 6 of that Act.
The Complainant was not present or represented at the Hearing, accordingly I must find and declare that the complaint under the Redundancy Payments Acts is not well founded; it is rejected and it fails for lack of prosecution.
