The decision of the Tribunal was as follows:-
Determination:
At the outset the respondent conceded the claim for a redundancy payment but has an inability to pay same.
Having heard the sworn evidence of the appellant the Tribunal is satisfied he was dismissed by reason of redundancy. Accordingly the Tribunal awards the appellant a lump sum payment under the Redundancy Payments Acts 1967 to 2007 based on the following information:
Date of Commencement: 1 March 2001
Date of Notice: 26 September 2013
Date of Termination: 19 October 2013
Gross Weekly Wage: €320.00
This award is subject to the appellant having been in employment which is insurable for all purposes under the Social Welfare Consolidation Act 2005.
