The decision of the Tribunal was as follows:-

The appellant’s employment ceased on 30^th March 2012. He brought a claim for a redundancy payment to the Tribunal on 8^th May 2015 as he had only received a half of his lump sum entitlement. The appeal is statute barred as it was neither submitted within 52 weeks’ of the termination of employment date nor within the following 52 week period into which the Tribunal has discretion to extend. Accordingly the appeal is dismissed.
