There was no appearance for or on behalf of the respondent. The Tribunal is satisfied that proper notification was sent to the Respondent. Accordingly having heard the uncontested evidence determines that the Appellant is entitled to a redundancy lump sum payment based on the following information:

Date of commencement of employment:                    13^th November 2009

Date of cessation of employment:                              31^st July 2014

Gross weekly pay:                                                       €346.15

Non-reckonable service:                                              Nil

On 29^th April 2013 there was a transfer of business by a company ATEC Engineering Ltd to the above named Respondent and employment was continuous.

Note this award is made subject to the appellant having been in insurable employment under the Social Welfare Acts during the relevant period.
