The decision of the Tribunal was as follows:-

There was no appearance by or representation on behalf of either party at the hearing. The notice of hearing sent by registered post to the appellant’s address as per the claim form was returned as ‘not called for’. It was reissued by ordinary post on 23^rd December 2015. The notice of hearing addressed to the respondent was also returned as ‘not called for’ and reissued by ordinary post on 22^nd December 2015.

Further the appellant did not respond to correspondence following the hearing within the 21 days specified in that letter. The phone number supplied on the application form is no longer in service.

Accordingly, the appeals under the Redundancy Payments Acts, 1967 to 2007, and the Minimum Notice and Terms of Employment Acts, 1973 to 2005, are dismissed for want of prosecution.
