This case came before the Tribunal by way of an employee seeking to implement a recommendation of a Rights Commissioner under the Unfair Dismissals Acts, 1977 to 2007, ref: r-140065-ud-13.

The determination of the Tribunal was as follows:-

There was no appearance by or on behalf of the respondent. The Tribunal is satisfied that she was on notice of the hearing.

The respondent withdrew her appeal against the Rights Commissioner recommendation on 29^th January 2016.

The Tribunal is satisfied that the recommendation has not been performed in any way. Accordingly, the Tribunal makes a determination to the like effect as Rights Commissioner recommendation r-140065-ud-13 that the respondent pays the claimant the sum of €15,000.00 (fifteen thousand euro) under the Unfair Dismissals Acts, 1977 to 2007.
