Determination:
There was no appearance for or on behalf of the Respondent. The Tribunal is satisfied that proper notification was sent to the Respondent.
The Tribunal heard evidence from the Claimant. The Tribunal is satisfied that the Claimant was dismissed by reason her position was redundant and awards the Claimant a statutory redundancy lump sum payment under the Redundancy Payments Acts, 1967 To 2007, based on the following information:
Date of commencement: 21st March 2010
Date of termination: 30th March 2015
Gross weekly pay: €375.00
Under the Organisation of Working Time Act, 1997 the Tribunal awards the Claimant five days holiday pay, this being the sum of €375.00, and two day’s pay, amounting to €150.00, in lieu of public holidays.
This award is made subject to the appellant having been in insurable employment under the Social Welfare Acts during the relevant period.
