Complainant’s Submission and Presentation:
I’m a sole trader. I have worked for this company as subcontarctor. I issued 2 invoices, first is from 19.06.2016. for 800 euro, second one is from 29.07.2016. for 200 euro.And i didn’t receive the payment. We had agreement that they will pay 200 euro daily.The first invoice include 4 days, the second one is for 2 day. I could not fill in the employer Paye Number, this number is XXXXXXXXX. |
The Complainant gave evidence at the hearing that he was a self employed plumber. He was not under a contract of employment with the Respondent.

Decision:
Section 41(4) of the Workplace Relations Act 2015 requires that I make a decision in relation to the complaint(s)/dispute(s) in accordance with the relevant redress provisions under Schedule 6 of that Act.
As there is no contract of employment between the Complainant and the Respondent this claim fails for want of jurisdiction.
