The decision of the Tribunal was as follows:-
Based on the uncontested submission of the claimant the Tribunal is satisfied that his employment ceased with the respondent without the proper notice.
Accordingly, the appeal under the Minimum Notice and Terms of Employment Acts, 1973 to 2005 is allowed and the claimant is awarded €3160.00 being the equivalent of eight weeks’ notice pay of €395.00 per week.
