The claimant alleged that his employment with the respondent ended without the two weeks’ notice to which he was entitled given his service from September 2012 to June 2015.
No evidence was proffered at the hearing by or on behalf of the respondent.
Determination:
On the uncontested evidence of the claimant, the Tribunal awards him the sum of €260.00 (this amount being equivalent to two weeks’ gross pay at €130.00 for a ten hour week) under the Minimum Notice and Terms of Employment Acts, 1973 to 2005.
