The decision of the Tribunal was as follows:-
At the outset of the hearing the appeal under the Redundancy Payments Acts, 1967 to 2007 was withdrawn.
Determination:
The respondent conceded that the appellant was entitled to his minimum notice entitlement but told the Tribunal that he was unable to pay same.
Accordingly, the Tribunal awards the appellant €3,717.28 being the equivalent of eight weeks pay under the Minimum Notice and Terms of Employment Acts, 1973 to 2005.
