The decision of the Tribunal was as follows:-
The Tribunal is satisfied that the respondent was properly put on notice of this hearing. Having heard and considered the uncontested evidence of this case the Tribunal find that the appeal under the Redundancy Payments Acts 1967 to 2007 succeeds and awards the appellant a redundancy lump sum based on the following;
Date of Commencement: 12th May 2008
Date of Termination: 02nd August 2015
Gross Weekly Pay: €116.00
This award is made subject to the appellant having been in insurable employment under the Social Welfare Acts during the relevant period.
The Tribunal also allows the claim lodged under the Minimum Notice and Terms of Employment Acts, 1973 to 2005, and awards the appellant the sum of €464 (this amount being equivalent of four weeks’ gross pay)
