Determination
The Tribunal is satisfied that the respondent was properly on notice of this hearing, yet failed to attend. The appellant has received his redundancy payment therefore the appeal under the Redundancy Payments Acts 1967 to 2007 is dismissed. By the appellant’s own evidence he commenced work immediately after his employment ceased with the respondent and is therefore not entitled to minimum notice under the Minimum Notice and Terms of Employment Acts, 1973 to 2005.
