Determination
The Tribunal is satisfied that the respondent was properly on notice of this hearing, yet failed to attend. Based on the uncontested evidence of the appellant, the Tribunal find that the appeal under the Redundancy Payments Acts, 1967 to 2007 succeeds and the appellant is entitled to a redundancy lump sum based on the following;
Date of commencement: 1st January 2009
Date of termination: 13th July 2014
Gross weekly pay: €256.56
This award is made subject to the appellant having been in insurable employment under the Social Welfare Acts during the relevant period.
