Procedure:
In accordance with Section 41(4) of the Workplace Relations Act, 2015 and or Section 27 of the Organisation of Working Time Act, 1997 and or Section 6 of the Payment of Wages Act, 1991 following the referral of the complaint(s)/dispute(s) to me by the Director General, I inquired into the complaint(s)/dispute(s) and gave the parties an opportunity to be heard by me and to present to me any evidence relevant to the complaint(s)/dispute(s).
Complainant’s Submission and Presentation:
I started to work in the company 30th of January and I got 7 days of holiday, (I took five days off in February, but I did not get paid for them) I finished last 13th of Agust. |
I did not get paid for the 1st of August Bank Holiday. |
Since I gave the notice to the company (2nd of August 2016) I did not get paid properly for those two weeks, neither got my last two payslips in order to check how many hours I got paid for. |
The Complainant did not attend the hearing and no explanation was forthcoming.
Respondent’s Submission and Presentation:
Did not attend and no explanations offered.
Decision:
Section 41(4) of the Workplace Relations Act 2015 and or Section 27 of the Organisation of Working Time Act, 1997 and or Section 6 of the Payment of Wages Act, 1991 require that I make a decision in relation to the complaint(s)/dispute(s) in accordance with the relevant redress provisions under the cited Acts.
