Complainant’s Submission and Presentation:
I have been contacting my ex-employer on an almost daily basis requesting my final payment. I have emailed, called and left messages but they don't answer me. I have managed to contact the Accountants and after a month I got my P45 from another member of staff. But after this no updates about my payment that I have been asking on almost every day. I have all the emails that I sent to the employer and I can provide them all as evidence of this situation. I am owed €2,856.88 net. |
Respondent’s Submission and Presentation:
There was an unexplained absence of the Respondent.
Decision:
Section 41(4) of the Workplace Relations Act 2015 requires that I make a decision in relation to the complaint(s)/dispute(s) in accordance with the relevant redress provisions under Schedule 6 of that Act.
As there was an unexplained absence of the Respondent I accept the uncontested evidence presented by the Claimant. I find the Claimant well founded and award €2,856.88
