This order should be read in conjunction with a preliminary order dated 17th October 2016. The claim under the Redundancy Payments Acts 1967 to 2014 was withdrawn on the first day of hearing.
Determination:
Having heard and considered the evidence before it, the Tribunal is satisfied that the employment was terminated by the respondent without a proper notice period. Accordingly the appeal under the Minimum Notice and Terms of Employment Acts, 1993 to 2005 is allowed and the appellant is awarded €2,338.89 as compensation for three week’s Minimum Notice.
