The decision of the Tribunal was as follows:-
The claimant was found, in a separate unfair dismissal legislation appeal (UD639/2015) against a Rights Commissioner Recommendation (r-151815-ud-14/EH), not guilty of gross misconduct. This determination addresses a separate claim under the Minimum Notice and Terms of Employment Acts, 1973 to 2005.
Determination:
In addition to a seven thousand euro award made under unfair dismissals legislation (UD639/2015) the Tribunal allows the claim under the Minimum Notice and Terms of Employment Acts, 1973 to 2005, and awards the claimant the sum of €3,457.08 under the said Minimum Notice and Terms of Employment Acts, 1973 to 2005, this amount being equivalent to six weeks’ gross pay at €576.18 per week.
