In accordance with Section 41(4) of the Workplace Relations Act, 2015 following the referral of the complaint(s)/dispute(s) to me by the Director General, I inquired into the complaint(s)/dispute(s) and gave the parties an opportunity to be heard by me and to present to me any evidence relevant to the complaint(s)/dispute(s).

Complainant’s Submission and Presentation:

I have never been provided with terms and conditions of my employment. I had requested same from the employer several times but it had been ignored.

I did not receive holiday pay for 2016 year. Please note that employment finished on 21/05/2016.

No appearance at hearing

Decision:

Section 41(4) of the Workplace Relations Act 2015 requires that I make a decision in relation to the complaint(s)/dispute(s) in accordance with the relevant redress provisions under Schedule 6 of that Act.

As both parties were on notice of the hearing on 15 November and an appearance was made on behalf of the Respondent but no appearance was made on or on behalf of the Complainant, the claim/s fails for want of prosecution.
