These appeals came by way of the appellant (employer) appealing against the Recommendations of the Rights Commissioner ref.r-147094-te-14 and r-148054-ud-14.
The Tribunal is satisfied that the appellant and respondent were properly notified of the date, time and location of the hearing of this matter. Neither parties nor any representative attended on the day. Having waiting a period of 30 minutes after the scheduled commencement time allotted for this hearing, the Tribunal determined that the appeals under the Unfair Dismissals Acts, 1977 to 2007, and Terms of Employment Acts, 1973 to 2005, fail for want of prosecution.
