Procedure:
In accordance with Section 13 of the Industrial Relations Acts, 1969 following the referral of the dispute to me by the Director General, I inquired into the dispute and gave the parties an opportunity to be heard by me and to present to me any evidence relevant to the dispute.
Background:
The Worker started his employment with the Employer on the 1st January 2013. He is seeking complete withdrawal of Final Written Warning and the 6 months warning. |
Summary of Worker’s Case:
The Worker did not attend the hearing or provide any explanation for failure to do so. Siptu on his behalf submits that the Worker has not provided any tangible evidence to his representative and consequently it was not possible to prepare a submission. |
Summary of Employer’s Case:
The Employer was in attendance. No complaint was presented. Therefore, no response was sought. |
Findings and Conclusions:
I am satisfied that the Worker was informed of the venue, date and time of the hearing. He did not attend the adjudication to advance his dispute pursuant to the Industrial Relations Acts, 1969. |
Recommendation:
Section 13 of the Industrial Relations Acts, 1969 requires that I make a recommendation in relation to the dispute.
I recommend that this claim fails for want of prosecution. |
