Procedure:
In accordance with Section 41 of the Workplace Relations Act, 2015 following the referral of the complaint to me by the Director General, I inquired into the complaint and gave the parties an opportunity to be heard by me and to present to me any evidence relevant to the complaint.
Background:
The complainant submitted a complaint of penalisation to the WRC on 23/10/17. Neither the complainant or his representative attended the hearing. |
Summary of Complainant’s Case:
Complainant was duly notified of date of hearing. Neither the complainant or his representative attended. |
Summary of Respondent’s Case:
The respondent’s legal and military personnel attended the hearing. The respondent supplied a written a written submission in advance of the hearing which was copied to the complainant. |
Findings and Conclusions:
The complainant and respondent were notified of the hearing. As the complainant did not attend and therefore no evidence was presented to support the complaint, I do not uphold the complaint. |
Decision:
Section 41 of the Workplace Relations Act 2015 requires that I make a decision in relation to the complaint
