Procedure:
In accordance with Section 41 of the Workplace Relations Act, 2015 and Section 8 of the Unfair Dismissals Acts, 1977 - 2015, and Section 79 of the Employment Equality Acts, 1998 - 2015,following the referral of the complaint to me by the Director General, I inquired into the complaints sand gave the parties an opportunity to be heard by me and to present to me any evidence relevant to the complaint.
Background:
A hearing was scheduled for 1st May 2018. From the correspondence eon the case file I am satisfied that both parties were properly notified of the date and time of the hearing. No explanation was subsequently forthcoming. The Complainant did not attend the hearing. A representative for the Respondent did attend the hearing. |
