Procedure:
In accordance with Section 8 of the Unfair Dismissals Acts, 1977 - following the referral of the complaint to me by the Director General, I inquired into the complaint and gave the parties an opportunity to be heard by me and to present to me any evidence relevant to the complaint
Preliminary Issue
The respondent submitted that they had transfer the business to respondent number 2 and they had no dealing with the claimant since 26th November 2016.it was further submitted that any issues the claimant had were with his current employer and they played no part in that relationship.
Findings
I find that the business was transferred on the 26th November ’16 where the employment relationship between the respondent and the claimant ceased at that point.
Decision:
Section 8 of the Unfair Dismissals Acts, 1977 – 2015 requires that I decide in relation to the unfair dismissal claim consisting of a grant of redress in accordance with section 7 of the 1977 Act.
I find that the complaint is not well founded and falls.
